Perfect for a weeknight dinner, game day, or whenever those comfort food cravings hit—this recipe is hearty, cheesy, and downright irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 8 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (or your favorite pizza toppings)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep & Season the Steaks

Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Cook the Steaks

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), or to your preferred doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Add the Pizza Topping

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place steaks on a baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce over each steak, sprinkle generously with mozzarella and Parmesan, then add pepperoni or your favorite toppings.

Bake to Perfection

Bake for 5–7 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve

Top with fresh basil or parsley. Serve hot with garlic bread, a side salad, or roasted veggies.

Tips & Variations

  • Make it spicy: Add crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeños.
  • Veggie lovers: Try sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or onions as toppings.
  • Cheese swap: Use provolone or cheddar for a different twist.
  • Lighter option: Use thin-sliced flank steak for a leaner version.

These Homemade Pizza Steaks are a game-changer—bringing together the best of both worlds for a meal that’s cheesy, savory, and absolutely unforgettable.
