Cream Cheese Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust – Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Filling – In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in sour cream until creamy.
  3. Bake the Cake – Pour filling into prepared crust. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 50–60 minutes, or until the center is just set.
  4. Cool & Chill – Allow cake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).
  5. Finish & Serve – Dust with powdered sugar or top with fresh berries before serving.
