Ingredients:

IngredientQuantity
All-purpose flour2 cups
Baking powder1 teaspoon
Salt1/2 teaspoon
Granulated sugar1 cup
Butter, softened1/2 cup (1 stick)
Eggs2
Milk1 cup
Vanilla extract2 teaspoons

Cinnamon Swirl:

IngredientQuantity
Brown sugar1/3 cup
Ground cinnamon1 tablespoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven:
Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Prepare the cinnamon swirl:
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. Make the batter:
In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry and wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until smooth.
  5. Layer the batter:
Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top.
Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Use a knife to swirl through the batter for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake:
Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and serve:
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Optional Glaze:

Mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1–2 tablespoons milk, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Drizzle over cooled bread for a sweet finishing touch.
