Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
 - ½ teaspoon salt
 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
 - ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
 - ¾ cup buttermilk (plus 1–2 tbsp more if needed)
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 cup fresh blueberries (washed and dried)
 - Optional: coarse sugar for topping

Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. - Cut in the Butter
Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. - Add Wet Ingredients
Pour in the buttermilk and vanilla extract. Stir just until combined. The dough should be slightly sticky—don’t overmix. - Fold in Blueberries
Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to crush them. - Shape the Dough
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Pat into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Cut into rounds or squares using a biscuit cutter or knife. - Bake
Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle tops with coarse sugar if desired. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown. - Cool & Serve
Let biscuits cool slightly on a wire rack. Serve warm with butter, honey, or a drizzle of lemon glaze.
