Ingredients:

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook Pasta – In salted boiling water, cook shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak – Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season steak with salt & pepper. Cook until browned on all sides (medium doneness), then remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce Base – In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Deglaze & Creamify – Pour in beef broth and simmer 2 minutes. Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  5. Bring it Together – Add the cooked pasta shells and steak back into the pan. Toss until everything is well coated in the paprika cream sauce.
  6. Serve – Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
