Ingredients:
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz medium pasta shells
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook Pasta – In salted boiling water, cook shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sear the Steak – Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season steak with salt & pepper. Cook until browned on all sides (medium doneness), then remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce Base – In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Deglaze & Creamify – Pour in beef broth and simmer 2 minutes. Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Bring it Together – Add the cooked pasta shells and steak back into the pan. Toss until everything is well coated in the paprika cream sauce.
- Serve – Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
