Grandma’s Cinnamon Rolls – Soft, Sweet & Irresistible!

Warm, gooey, and packed with sweet cinnamon goodness, these homemade cinnamon rolls taste just like Grandma used to make. Perfect for cozy mornings, family gatherings, or a nostalgic afternoon treat!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 4–5 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup softened butter (for filling)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Dough – In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in softened butter until crumbly. In another bowl, beat egg with milk, then combine with dry mixture to form a soft dough.
  2. Roll It Out – On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Add the Sweet Filling – Spread butter evenly over dough, then sprinkle generously with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  4. Roll & Slice – Roll dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 even rolls.
  5. Rise & Bake – Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve & Enjoy – Let cool slightly. Drizzle with icing for extra sweetness, or enjoy them warm just as they are!
