Ingredients:

  • 2 large heirloom tomatoes (any variety or mix of colors)
  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 slices hearty sandwich bread (sourdough or whole grain works beautifully)
  • 4 leaves crisp lettuce (like romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions:
