Mashed Potatoes with Ground Beef Gravy

Instructions:
- Cook the potatoes:
Place peeled and cubed potatoes into a large pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15–20 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain well. - Mash the potatoes:
Return potatoes to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until creamy and smooth. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed. Keep warm. - Cook the ground beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add butter (or oil) and ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary. - Add aromatics:
